Round 2

It's funny that since I've started doing 23 Things I've been dreaming of blogs every night. Help! it's consuming my soul ;)

I am enjoying it though and learning lots. I think the potential to relate it all to what we do every day at work and home is huge - only limited by our imagination. It will be exciting to see what we, as a library service, do with all this knowledge after we've finished 23 Things. I'd particularly like to see it used to (re-)connect with the younger library members.

As I was having a play around with Flickr, it occurred to me that this tool, possibly more than others, is one which can be embraced by any age. I can't see technophobes using blogs when they travel, but I can see them interested in online photo sharing. The facilities for tagging and organising photos will also appeal to people who like a "place for everything and everything in its place" (all those people who harbour secret desires to be a librarian!).

Anyway, to the task at hand. I've included some photos of Positano, Italy - it was the one place in the world I wanted to see. It is every bit as beautiful as the photos and I had the best time there (not to mention the best pizza at a restaurant on the "beach" - I use the term loosely as it's all pebble). Sigh!
Ciao for now!
