Here is my attempt at mashups. I did it! I did it! I sound abit like my 2 year old after he's either dressed himself (today he's wearing jeans as I didn't want to stifle his independence) or done something creative with one of his sister's dolls.
It was actually easier than I thought. One thing I am learning during this 23 Things experience is that if you just have a little tinker with things you can usually work out how to do things in the end. It helps that these Web 2.0 applications/technologies have some standard ways of doing things.
Now that I've mastered this, I'll have to concentrate on using these powers for good and not evil. ;)
I must admit, I'm finding it a little harder to see how mashups could be used in a library context. I guess it's that whole thing about users of the technology adapting it for their use, adding information and changing the original info in some way. This, or course, opens up all sorts of issues such as intellectual property, copyright etc...
